Super Gaijin Power Attack!!!

Well, I've recently come back across one of my favourite Internet thingymabobs. The "I am a Japanese School Teacher" editorials have been going around the net for a few years now, becoming one of my favourite websites in the process. Unfortunately, I stopped reading late 2004 because he moved from www.outpostnine.com to www.gaijinsmash.net and began posting from the very beginning again - which meant it took over two years for him to finish uploading everything onto this new, blog-style system. Thankfully, I suddenly got the urge to read some of it and went there, only to find out that he had finished moving everything and would be uploading new content twice a week. Score 1 for Internet Psychic Powers!

Anyway, the editorials are about Jeffrey "Azrael" Windham's experiences teaching English in three different Japanese middle schools (Aged 12-15). Az is a writer, and a damn fine one (check out outpost nine for proof!), the editorials are a joy to read with little Scrubs like skits portraying his thoughts on some matters:

Any Japanese person who's been to America makes sure to regale their friends with stories of the massive plates of food they were hit with in restaurants...

Japanese person: Um, hello, excuse me? I'm afraid there's been a mistake in my order. Surely, you've brought me the family plate or something.
Waitress: Nope, that's for one person.
Japanese person: Sweet mother of all that is holy and pure! How is one person supposed to eat all this food!
Waitress: Actually...waitaminute...there IS a mistake in your order. This is the KIDS plate. I'm sorry, here's your regular portion...
Japanese person: *head explodes*

(From "Don't get fat in Japan")

The rest of them follow along the same vein. With more AWESOME.

Also, I thought I'd link to The Best Page in the Universe. If you like extreme cynicism and sarcasm mixed in with insults directed at pretty much everything and everyone, then it's an awesome site. www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net

Also, I have found another well written, fun blog - Miscellany Symposium. It is written by another Brit (YAY!) and talks about fun things. He's just started up, so check him out.
